Some creative genius has gone and created a compilation of movie clips and set them perfectly to an Eminem track.
The rapper’s music is undeniably some of the best in the game (at least in my humble opinion), but this mash up might need to be considered by the Spotify charts.
“This genius made an edit using scenes from different movies to recreate Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’. It’s a true masterpiece,” Instagram meme account @humordaia wrote.
The reshared clip now has a whopping 10 million views - and for good reason!
Just some of the scenes used are from ‘Lilo and Stitch’, Taika Waititi’s ‘JoJo Rabbit’, ‘Shrek’ and even the Aussie hit ‘Kath and Kim’.
It’s impressive just how many singular words and phrases were mixed with the right tone to fit the track - that’s got to be HOURS of work.
“Can we just appreciate how much work and effort that actually takes to find every movie in existence and go through every single scene in each one just to find one single word for the lyrics, impressive asf i’d say,” one commenter wrote.
Another agreed: “I love how you didn’t reuse any of the scenes either 🔥.”
Turns out the original creator goes by The Unusual Suspect on YouTube and has plenty more where that came from.
The latest mash up is set to The Spice Girls hit ‘Wannabe’ and a real highlight is hear Gollum’s “precious” line put to the best use I’ve ever seen.
“This is what the internet was made for,” one person praised the video.
Another said: “I applaud you because I would NEVER have the patience to put something like this together 😧.”
“Never stop making these videos, buddy 😉👍🏻,” a third wrote.
These two are the latest mashups after the Youtuber took a four year hiatus. So, it seems like there may be more on the way.
