Justin Bieber deletes 'diabolical' post about Hailey's Vogue cover after backlash

He's not doing himself ANY favours atm.

At this point, are we surprised that another one of Justin Bieber’s social media comments about his wife Hailey is getting backlash?

This morning, Bieber shared a couple of beautiful snaps of Hailey’s Vogue cover photoshoot, but the way he congratulated her has left fans disappointed and scratching their heads.

In his now-deleted caption, Justin wrote: “Yo, this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight. I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue."

“Yikes, I know, so mean,” he continued. “For some reason, because I felt so disrespected. I thought I gotta get even."

“I think as we mature, we realise that we’re not helping anything by getting even, we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want, which is intimacy and connection,” he added.

"So baby, u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover, cuz clearly I was sadly mistaken."

While most would consider a post like this to be celebratory, many found his caption “disrespectful” and “unnecessary”.

“There are a thousand other ways u could’ve congratulated her on her Vogue cover 😭😭😭😭😭,” one person commented.

Another said: “‘Sadly mistaken’ is diabolical in this sentence.. bestie, just say congrats, I love you or something 😵‍💫.”

“I know your intentions in posting this were good, but the caption was disrespectful and nasty. This is a very happy moment for Hailey, let's not take that away from her,” added a third.

Though others have come to his defence, with one fan writing: “People think relationships are perfect and that there are no arguments, he was honest and everything is fine. Be happy, and let JB be happy. Who has never had a bad fight with their partner?”

“He’s being vulnerable,” someone else said.

But others were more annoyed that he quietly edited the caption afterwards, like nothing happened.

“No shot u changed the caption after airing dirty laundry like that,” one user wrote.

Another agreed: “Bro thought he would edit the caption and nobody would notice tf 😭 you’re a celebrity Justin c’mon now you don’t have to share everything here!”

This comes after Bieber deleted another “wildly disrespectful” comment last week on Mother’s Day.

The singer shared a note on his story saying the day “sucks ass” - a surprising take, considering Hailey recently gave birth to their nine-month-old son, Jack Blues.

She’s since said that settling into motherhood has been a “difficult” time.

Lately, the couple’s relationship has been picked apart online, with rumours swirling that they’re heading for divorce.

Hailey’s addressed how much the gossip has affected her, saying: “Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult…”

“To be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, ‘They’re getting divorced’ and ‘They’re this’ and ‘They’re not happy’."

It is such a mindf**k. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.

And with Justin’s recent habit of oversharing on socials, it’s only adding fuel to the fire.
