Justin Bieber, who has been no stranger to controversy lately, has raised some major eyebrows after fans spotted a comment he made on his Instagram account during Mother's Day.
The singer posted a note on his Instagram saying ‘love u moms but mothers day sucks ass’ which he then uploaded to his story before quickly deleting. Big yikes.
The screenshot was then shared to Reddit, with many taking to the comment section to slam the singer over his post.
One user commented, “saying this on Hailey’s first ever Mother’s Day is just insane and wildly disrespectful. I’m not even a fan of hers but she truly deserves better”.
Another commenter claimed that Justin’s recent behaviour has inspired them to leave their boyfriend. “I saw how embarrassing it was to stay with a man who openly doesn’t support you, so I said to myself, 'do I wanna be this? No.’ Now I’m single. Thank you Hailey.”
A third commenter added: “I sympathise with his childhood and I wish him the best, but we have to admit he treats women terribly.”
Justin has since posted Mother's Day tributes on his Instagram story for both Hailey and his Mother Pattie, alongside other confusing posts.
He shared a screenshot of a song called ‘Resentment’ by ‘PARTYNEXTDOOR’, tagging Hailey. He then posted “@haileybieber come meet me in the theatre room I wanna show you something”. Maybe a text message would’ve sufficed?
The posts come after worried fans have been speculating about the star's erratic behaviour, including concerns about potential drug abuse after a string of concerning social media posts and public appearances, which Justin’s reps have since denied.
Are there signs of trouble in paradise, or is it just friendly banter between husband and wife? Only time will tell.
