Jay and Dunc have done the show together for 6 years so far, and they’ve done one heck of a job of keeping us all entertained so far.
After spending all this time with each other, on AND off air, you’d think they’d have each other completely figured out. (That might be too generous…)
So we put it to the test, in a ‘Who knows who better?’ challenge.
It’s simple: we ask a question about one of them (e.g. what is Jay’s full name) and they both write the answers down on their whiteboards. They then spin them around at the same time, and the status of true or fake friend is revealed.
Surprisingly enough, they kinda sucked.
My favourite part was that Dunc’s answer for ‘Jay’s most prized possession’ was ‘his wife’, but Jay’s answer was… his motorbike.
Another goodie was Dunc stuffing up Jay’s full name by adding an extra middle name for no reason at all. Dropped an absolute sitter there.
Dunc was caught out acting like his most prized possession was his ‘signed dream team singlet’. Jay’s response to that was “Your f*cking counterfeit dream team singlet… drew the f*cking signatures on himself.”
Ending it on a bang, to answer the question of ‘What is Dunc’s biggest career regret?’. Jay answered with a simple ‘Jay’, which got the laughs going, but there was no disagreement from Dunc.
In the end, Jay cleaned out the comp, winning 3.5-1. I reckon even Dunc’s 1 was questionable.
